all my love to lesbians who are rough around the edges okay, there’s so much pressure on this website for us to be gentle and pretty and adorable and it’s great that that works for some people but! lesbians who don’t know how to be soft are just as deserving of happiness and positivity as other lesbians and we shouldn’t have to smooth over the sharper, less ‘pleasant’ parts of ourselves to get it. being a lesbian is about being attracted to women & woman-aligned people, not about tumblr’s ‘sapphic princess’ aesthetic!!! let us live

(’women’ includes trans women, terfs don’t touch this post)

biwomensuggestion:

It’s okay to try on a certain label and decide it’s not for you. It’s okay to call yourself bi just to see if it suits you and it’s okay to question and doubt yourself even if you are sure you’re bisexual. None of those things make you indecisive or fake or attention seeking, your journey doesn’t need to adhere to what other people think is the “purest” way to be bi.
